Key points for printing QR codes on packaging bags
1. Determine the purpose and content of the QR code: Clarify the information carried by the QR code (such as product traceability, event links, contact information, etc.), generate a high-definition and non-redundant QR code pattern. Prioritize versions with high error correction capability (QR code is recommended, error correction level H) to avoid information loss.
2. Adapt to packaging material and printing process: Select the corresponding printing process (such as offset printing, flexographic printing, gravure printing, screen printing, etc.) according to the packaging material (plastic, paper, composite film, etc.). When the material surface is rough or light-transmitting, add a white background under the QR code to improve recognizability.
3. Control the size and position of the QR code: The minimum size of the QR code must meet the recognition requirements of scanning devices (usually not less than 1.5cm×1.5cm), and be coordinated with the overall design of the packaging bag. Avoid placing it at folding edges, seals, seams and areas with dense patterns, and reserve sufficient blank space.
4. Grasp printing quality parameters: Ensure the clarity of the QR code during printing, with no blurriness, burrs or double images on the edges. Choose high-contrast color combinations (such as black code on white background), and avoid light-colored codes on light backgrounds or overlapping QR codes with gradient backgrounds to prevent scanning failure.
5. Finished product inspection and optimization: After printing, randomly inspect the QR code recognition rate with different models of mobile phones and scanning devices. If there is a recognition problem, adjust the size, color or printing process, and regenerate the QR code if necessary.
